Manuel Wagner

(Sons of Sissy, Oh Magic...): Performance, Music | (Requiem): Research

Manuel Wagner works as a freelance dancer and choreographer in Vienna.

He attended the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and since 2003 has been working on various performances and projects dealing with far-reaching techniques, such as Chinlone, Capoeira, Kung Fu, Contact Improvisation, Dance Theater, Acrobatics, and Musical Improvisation. In 2012 he completed his master's degree in cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna.

Since 2013, he has been training Chinlone, a 1800-year-old Burmese sport, which he teaches for the first time in Europe at the Sports University in Vienna. He is currently working on inclusive dance projects for mix-abled performers in Viennese grammar schools, high schools and schools for children with special needs and talents.
