Together with a team of artists and dance groups from contemporary and traditional dance and music genres, Simon Mayer and Hannah Shakti Bühler invite the audience to a collective experience. FolkDanceParty combines old, new, timeless and queer celebration traditions. The focus is on the interplay between the loud and the silent - a peaceful, wild togetherness of bodies that opens up a space of trust and enables a state of movement.
